If you are like me, you’ve received emails and flyers about Christmas in July. Uh, excuse me, but who the heck thinks about the holidays this early?
You see, for the past few years, we’ve sent our Christmas cards out with pictures of the kids, but this year, I’m determined to be in the pictures too. Which means making sure to actually be in some pictures!
Usually, I plan the cards at the last moment, rushing the kids to get something “festive” on, and begging them to stop messing around so I can take just one nice picture! And then, I send them off to the nearest drugstore to print them for me. Like three days before Christmas. And every year, they look kind of cheap and the colors are blurry.
But NOT THIS YEAR! I’ve got a plan. In July. And it involves Minted.
Have you heard of them? I just found them, and I think I’m smitten. Minted. is a sponsor of the Haven Conference this year, so that’s how I came to find them. And now, because I love you, I’m introducing them to you. You can thank me later.
Anyway, I was perusing their Christmas and Holiday cards and found quite a few that I love.
Just look at some of these designs…
Hmmm.. I am wondering if I could just photoshop our heads on that family? What I love about that one is the text – that’s almost what I always put on our cards – except ours say “may your holidays be filled with love and laughter”.
Yep, I’ve got a few pictures that would work out just perfectly for this card!
Another one of my favorites is this one. I like the simplicity of it.
I like that you can make your cards in a variety of ways too: flat, folded, scalloped edges… You can even write your own text inside! Check this out…
And Minted. doesn’t just offer Christmas Cards, they also have all kinds of other stationary and printed materials. They even have party decor and supplies!
And look how adorable this birth announcement is!
Do you know what else is fabulous about Minted.? They will address your cards for you at no additional charge! Holy time saver, Batman! My sister recently had a baby, so they sent out birth announcements and baptism/party invites in a span of just a few weeks – over a 150 for each event. That’s a lot of time just spent putting addresses on envelopes: time they could have saved by using Minted. Too bad they don’t offer to write the thank you cards too.
Very shortly, I’ll be ordering new business cards for my photography business. Minted. is a community of thousands of designers – so there are plenty of designs for me to choose from. I can’t wait to pick the perfect one for my business. These are a few of my favorites…
Minted. seems to have a solution for many of the events in my life – business cards, invitations, party decor, Christmas/Holiday cards, stationary – they even have Art Prints. And we all know how much I could use some real art around here.
Please go check them out. You won’t be sorry. Oh, and if you order holiday cards from them, will you send me one? It’s the only time of the year when my kids and I fight about who has to walk down to the mailbox to get the mail! It’s my favorite part of the holidays
I’m off to Haven Conference tomorrow. Can’t wait to see the friends I made last year, and meet new friends this year (including representatives from Minted. !) I’ll fill you in on all the craziness when I get back.
Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by!
please note: While Minted. has offered free product in exchange for this post, everything I wrote is my own opinion. I really do get excited about random things like holiday cards
