Happy Easter

Nothing like the smell of cinnamon in the morning to get kids out of bed.

We are on our way to my sister's house to celebrate Easter and my little brother's birthday. Before I go, I wanted to share what I have been up to this morning. To try to pry the kids out of bed (mine aren't small anymore, so they tend to sleep in) without having to dump cold water on them, I tried out this pin hoping it would coax them out of their slumber... My Daughter’s 18th Birthday

My daughter turned 18 the other day. To be honest, the idea of her being an "adult" both terrifies and excites me. My son is having a few friends over tonight for a bonfire, so I decided to make brownies for them. I saw the cutest idea on Pinterest, and thought I would try it out. Aren't these just the cutest?! I thought, how easy would this be? So, I mixed up the brownie batter, sprayed the pan and the cookie cutters and carefully poured the batter into them. Placed them in the oven, and waited. My Week of Thanksgiving

It's been quiet here for the last few days because I was getting ready to host Thanksgiving at our house, and then recovering from the event for two days. Easy Halloween decorations

While looking for Fall decoration ideas, I found this on Pinterest. While I don't eat much candy corn, decorating with it is fabulous!
