Today, I was scrolling through Pinterest and I came across this pin*. Since summer is coming, and the pool is almost done, I figured that this would be the perfect time to break out the body scrubs and moisturizers, and get my legs, and arms and elbows and feet, ready and presentable for pool-side lounging. Pinterest - how do I love thee? Like my dog loves bacon. Seriously. There are so many really cool ideas on there for saving time, money or natural resources. Unlike some of the pins I've tried on Pinterest that don't work out, this one was definitely worth trying. I saw this pin for alcohol ink coasters, as well as a few more like it, on Pinterest a few weeks back. I was immediately drawn to the vibrant colors and the fun designs. One of my best friends in the whole wide world, Tracy, came over to visit a few weeks ago. She brought her three little people, who are perhaps some of my favorite kids ever. Although I'm not posting as much as I used to, it's not because I haven't been trying new pins. Hi there! Long time, no post, huh? Sorry about that. It's been a crazy, overwhelming month and I just couldn't do much more than get through it as best as I could. The demo on our master bathroom started yesterday, and I foresee many hours being dedicated to it's completion. I am hoping to be able to get a few posts written during the next few weeks, but just in case I don't, don't worry - I haven't fallen into the hole in the floor that used to be my bath tub! The water in our house is very hard. I have hard water stains everywhere. Bathtubs, sinks, showers, countertops, toilets... they are all subject to the ugly stains. I have an admission to make. (yes, another one) My clothes stink. Well, they did. They stank no matter what I did to get the stink out. I tried numerous laundry detergents - even the expensive HE ones. I used a little soap. I used a lot of soap. I added a little bit bleach to EVERY load - not good for black socks, by the way.
